Wiper Delay mechanism

Postby Fraserp6 on Sun Jan 22, 2012 8:09 pm

Hi ,

I'll get straight to the point. I've a linkage type wiper system of which I have adapted quite some in order that it clears the NADA heater box I have fitted. As a result of this, the cycle of rotation that the linkage arms takes is a little different to the standard likage.

I'm wondering, as a result of this, what's the likelyhood of the vacuum delay mechanism working as it should as the metal plate will now hit the vacuum system at a different point for a different length of time.

Photo's to follow to help to visualise the situation.

Thoughts welcome, thanks

Fraser
