hi guys
not totally sure of what its called but i have to remove the heater sender unit on my 2000sc series 1 and it is stuck solid!
i can't budge it
is there a way to remove it without totally buggering the thing?
would applying heat help? (heat gun not blow torch)
tried applying oil and its still siezed solid!
i figured it would only be just nipped up , am i wrong?

Is it on a taper thread ? Would it matter if it broke as it's (presumably) brass and the remains could be chipped out

Which sender unit are you talking about?
Currently over 35 years worth of fixing 35 boxes.
Hoping to reach 65 years worth of fixing 65 boxes.
