Don't laugh, but try a decent motor factors like Partco or Andrew Page, last exhaust section I bought came from there, I just thought I would ask, and they got it next day...

It's true! Try yellow pages for local exhaust suppliers.
It worked for me and my 1975 3500.
Bosal and (another whose name I forget) still make our exhaust systems. Regards, John.

I stand to be corrected but when i looked for a exhaust for christine, i went to my local exhaust stockist who scoured the country and drew a blank. This ties in with what i was told by a club / committee member who is also in the trade. as they are no longer available.

Andrew Pages Motor Factors can get rears and middle but not front section.
Choice of Bosal OR Timax.

They are listed but make sure they know which diameter as they have two. Wide bore is for 3500S.

Have you tried the 3 W's (Weekley's, Wadham's and Walker's)? I've had exhausts off them before for less than Kwik fit have quoted me.

Well, thanks for all the response... Ive heard of a place local to me who will make up systems for reasonable money - if this is true and its reasonable i'll let you know who it is!

Usually they deal with big-bore noisy astras/cossie type stuff so hopefully then can make something quiet!

cheers,

Just to add, I've found a supplier of Bosal exhausts online

www.bodyshopwarehouse.co.uk

They list full systems for the 2000/2200
But only the rear box for the 3500.

But these should also be available from your local factors too.
