Does anyone know what order inlet and exhaust tappets/valves go in when looked at from above (front to back)? My shim clearances are all over the place.

The exhaust and inlet gaps are different, and I cant work out what to adjust to as I dont know which is which, just that they are all smaller than the lower setting, 0 gap on one....

Can anyhelp please, Ive a day off tommorow to try and fix it ha ha

Thanks,

Matt

If you are using one piece shims it is easy.

If you are using two piece shims then the little one (adjustment)goes on the bottom and the standard one goes on the top - put them the other way and your engine might go bang when you start it up.

I take no personal resonsibility for any of this but I am sure it is OK -The standard disclaimer etc applies....
